Waning Periods: Feb. 18 - Mar. 4 begin with the full moon. It's a time of completion. In candle magic, it's known as the time of banishing.

Waxing Periods: Feb. 3-17 begin with the new moon. It's a time of new beginnings and fresh starts. In candle magic it's known as the time of gathering.

NEW MOON: Feb. 2 @ 6:31 p.m. in Aquarius. This waxing period focuses on new friendships, conversations, progressive ideas and inventions.

FULL MOON: Feb. 18 @ 0:36 a.m. in Leo. This waning period focuses on completing issues of love, children, personal investments, socializing and hobbies.
